Samui Cliff View Resort & Spa is located in quiet and peaceful area of Lamai. This hotel suits for those looking for a place to relax their mind and unwind their stress. You can enjoy the fantastic view from the balcony and see the fisherman boats in the dawn. However this hotel has no sandy beach so you have to forget about swimming but you can take a stroll around the rocky beach and enjoy the picturesque view.
There are few sun beds before the beach that you can lay down peacefully with no crowd. The breakfast was average. I'm not really fussy when comes to breakfast. A bowl of cereal, a toast, a glass of milk and some cut fruits were enough for me.
This hotel also provides free shuttle to Lamai which was very useful for me when I want to find food. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Not to forget the shuttle driver, he helped me to find halal food which was not easy to find. Surprisingly I found it at Lamai wet market. It was delicious authentic Thai cuisine even though it was not from a classy air-conditioned restaurant!
